I like to approach any client/Realtor relationship as a business partnership. I will only advise you on something as if I was your 50% business partner in a purchase or sale. My job is to look out for your best interest. I often get asked “What would you do if it was your house?” – I tell them that every piece of advice I give you is as if I am positioning myself in your shoes and asking myself that very question. I have bought and sold 45+ properties of my own over the years, so I understand the heavy emotions involved when buying & selling real estate. My job as a Realtor is helping clients stay calm, logical & strategic under tough situations & always find the best solutions. I like to say “don’t let your emotions get in the way of logic” - that can be very hard when you’re selling a house you lived in for 20 years, or when you’re trying to buy your dream house and there is a lot of money on the table. If you partner with me, I will help with that aspect and guide you with expertise & experience throughout the processes.
There are a lot of strategic components when buying and selling a house. I enjoy helping strategize whether it is negotiating a sale, coming up with a marking & pricing plan, or putting together a budget and plan for a house remodel. I have experience in just about every town in the greater Des Moines area and really enjoy helping people buy and sell their homes. Residential homes make up for about 50% of my business. I love helping people get into their new homes and selling their home for top prices.
