Hunting /Recreational/AG Land
I have been a hunter since I was carrying my Red Rider BB Gun pheasant hunting with my dad at the age of 8. I currently enjoy deer hunting, turkey hunting, and upland and waterfowl hunting with my Drahthaar hunting dog. I have been bowhunting deer for over 21 years, and I really enjoy the work that goes with it like planting food plots, improving habitat, running trail cameras and hanging new tree stand sets annually. Hunting has always been my #1 hobby. Hunting is so much more than harvesting a trophy; it is about spending quality time with friends and family. The hunting memories that I have created with my friends and family are something that I will always cherish. My goal is to help clients achieve the goal of land ownership and make great hunting memories with their family and friends on their land. It is a great feeling as a land agent to know you played a role in helping them buy a new property and they’ll get that 1st trophy buck or that 1st memorable hunt.
Back in 2019, I purchased my first hunting property and now I’ve added a second farm, an incredible piece of land where my family & I can hunt, camp, fish, plant food plots, corn, soybeans and enjoy the outdoors. Owning my own farms have really helped me gain a deeper knowledge about land, whether it is farming, navigating CRP contracts, hunting, buying tractors and side by sides or other tools needed for land ownership. I have also been able to home in on my skills when it comes to planting food plots from the help of knowledgeable friends, research, reading books/magazines, and through trial and error.
I don’t just know the hunting part of the land, I understand the farming side, Investment/ROIs, and current market values. Pricing land can be tricky, because it can be hard to find “apples to apples” comparable properties. I use multiple strategies and techniques to get the most accurate valuations of land. I am studying land sales and prices pretty much every day of the week. I invest in using the best mapping, soil, farming and comparable pricing software and tools on the market to stay at the top of my game in land.
